This video is absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for creating it and picking the right people to have in it. The balance of comedy and seriousness is wonderful.

I will send this to all my closest friends and post it for everyone else to watch. It is so important that college students (like me) get out and vote. I think we will be a powerful force to be reckoned with as long as we are prodded enough to take action.

Any of those stars actually vote Republican? The only ones I can identify politically are lefties. 640 words for Obama and 439 words for McCain on your issues page. Non-partisan my butt.

Dear Actors,

The majority of you don't even have a college education and know zero about politics. Why don't you keep your mouths shut and stick to acting? What makes you think you are so special to influence other people? Are you going after uneducated people who know nothing about the issues?

Wow! Thanks Hollywood! I wasn't going to vote, but now that Eva Longoria and the dude from Superbad are telling me to register, well geez, I guess I better.

The celebs in this video appear to be talking down to us...like we don't know or care about the issues and need people like Ashton Kutcher to set us straight. I think bringing Hollywood into politics is a bad idea. Informed and concerned Americans will make their own decisions with out the urging of celebrities. And one last note - most of the stars featured in this video are publicly endorsing Barack Obama, but I guess you already knew that...

give me a break! If you are not already registered you are not paying attention and shouldn't be voting in the first place. We are not stupid, we know your objective w/ this video.

I saw Benicio del Toro, but he wasn't listed. I didn't notice Maria Bello or Esai Morales.

Funny, I didn't see any of these actors advocating voting for Obama...

Thanks Anonymous for the You Tube link.. I had no idea... I was leaning to vote for Obama but I just cant find anything.. Nothing he has done to get my vote. I also agree that Hollywood should stick to their mindless acting and keep their opinions to their selves.. They're not too bright! Watch this video. It has cool music too.

I fail to see why I "have to " vote...

nor do i understand why my rights stem from my elected leaders who are voted for via the majority (or via the majority of the EC or whatever)

Voting only encourages Democracy.

Also, it is an aggressive act of implementing your will on others just because you can rally greater numbers to support your will.

Don't Vote.... please.

These videos send an IMPORTANT message, regardless of the presentor, partisanship, or the age and/or education of the viewer.

I stumbled upon this site while exploring what's happening on the side of the country where my college-educated daughter lives. As a 56-year-old with no college, and I do not find them to be the least bit condescending. I worked for 38 years and continue to pay taxes and dues as a U.S. Citizen, so why would I NOT exercise my right to vote?

This is my first and necessary "blogging" experience, because I see a "relative nudge" here to my 57-year-old computer game playing husband.

He, too, DOES care about the issues and loves to verbalize his complaints and concerns about the state of things. Like others who think their vote doesn't make a difference, he just doesn't like long lines or gets "too busy" to vote.

"Silence of the Lambs" and its sequels are favorite movies of his. The mask, even without the mention of it's affiliated movie title, just might grab him this time. The fact that the message comes from such "familiar" faces is an added bonus, and I thank them for contributing their time to get the word out.

Hooray for those who "get it" and are declaring and exercising their eligibility to vote.
